Kids sets are very easy to create... Sometime you just need a creative nudge to get the juices flowing...consider this is our "nudge page"

These designs are rough overviews of certain set elements that we have created in the past. They are not so much a step by step walk-through, but they will provide the general direction and instruction on how to create specific elements.

They also serve to help you change the way you think about kids set design. Our main approach to Kids set design is "what already exists, and how can I use it". 80% of our sets is normal "junk" ... From Walmart, to the hardware store

April 08, 2006 update: This page is still quite under construction... : )

Hi.. my name is Matt. I design the sets and media for Kidzturn...(introductions out of the way...)

We have received much feedback about when this page will be up and running, and right now there is no exact time frame to hope for. We put this page up in July of '05 in hopes to start organizing some of our past set elements into basic plans. It is still our intention to do so, and to offer them for free.

Unfortunately, time is the factor. We travel full time from mid-January through November and build our new sets and themes from December through mid-January. While on tour, I am a part of 2 part-time business to supplement my income and fund some of the technical aspects of Kidzturn. (as you know... kids ministry is not the most well-funded ministry... hence the need for some cool free set plans right?? ) ; )

As time permits, this project is being worked on and we look forward to sharing as much as we can to further Kids Ministry across the globe. In the mean time...we have provide a TON of set construction shots that do provide a wealth of insight on how to build set's like ours. This was provided for the same purpose of inspiring and "training" people how to build kids sets on small budgets.

I know it is human nature to want more, but we hope you will appreciate the bulk of pictures we have posted thus far. It is hard to find anyone that will post free detailed pictures on set construction. Those who build sets want to keep there "edge" or "secrets"... we would rather share them.
